It’s hard to imagine what a tiny stitch of the fabric of your childhood self will translate into as an adult, but sometimes these early threads are the beginnings of a greater tapestry that is being woven. From the time that I could speak my parents always noticed a conviction (for better or worse) in most of the things that I did or that were happening around me. They observed a passion for things that were meaningful to me, and a desire to be heard when I felt that there was any sort of injustice happening around me. These were all snapshots of the woman that I would someday be. This road has been full of more joy and laughter than measurable, but has also contained some of those hard times that really shake us to our core and force us to reconsider everything that we thought we knew.
I believe in living life authentically and allowing the essence of who we are as individuals to shine. I am a woman in recovery from anorexia and through my experience with surviving and thriving after an eating disorder, I wish to offer hope and shed light on this misunderstood and complicated illness. I look forward to sharing my story with you.
